Shelly Freeman Coaching, Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy

1. Services Covered

These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by Shelly Freeman (the “Provider”), including coaching, hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, group and individual sessions (in-person and online), and digital products (ebooks, trackers, online courses).

2. Eligibility and Age Restrictions

  • Psychotherapy and coaching are available to adults and those under 18 with parental/legal guardian consent.

  • Hypnotherapy is available only to clients aged 18+, and participants must confirm they are in good physical health before booking.

  • You warrant that all information provided (including medical/health details) is complete and accurate.

3. Booking, Payment & Cancellations

  • Sessions are booked by email or through www.shellyfreeman.co.uk.

  • Payment is required in advance for all sessions and digital products (except a free initial consultation). Services and materials will only be delivered after payment is received.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund; cancellations within 48 hours will result in forfeiture of the session fee.

  • For block bookings, refunds are calculated pro-rata at the reduced rate. Sessions due within 48 hours of cancellation are not refunded.

  • These terms apply to both in person, telephone and on line sessions

4. Group Sessions

  • These terms apply to both in person and online sessions

  • Group session sizes vary and will be stated at booking.

  • If only one person attends a scheduled group session, a private session may be offered at a significantly discounted rate.

  • Mutual respect and confidentiality are mandatory. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

5. Online Sessions

  • Online sessions are conducted via Microsoft Teams and may be recorded for quality and safeguarding.

  • Cameras are encouraged to be on for rapport but are not required.

  • By participating, you consent to recordings and agree to maintain respectful communication with all participants.

  • Sessions are to be attended free from the influence of drugs or alcohol (except prescribed medication).

6. Digital Products

  • All digital product sales (ebooks, trackers, courses) are final and non-refundable once accessed.

  • Digital products are for the customer’s personal use only and may not be shared, copied, or distributed. Products may be reused by the buyer (e.g., trackers can be reprinted, course modules revisited).

7. Client Conduct & Misconduct

  • Respect and non-judgment are expected at all times.

  • Swearing and emotive language are permitted where appropriate, but derogatory, abusive, threatening, or mocking behaviour towards the Provider or any participant is strictly forbidden. Examples of misconduct include:

    • Abusive or threatening language

    • Mocking another’s story or contribution

    • Discriminatory, harassing, or inappropriate comments

    • The Provider reserves the right to terminate services without refund in cases of misconduct.

8. Confidentiality & Safeguarding

  • All sessions (group, individual, in-person, or online) are strictly confidential except in cases of legal reporting obligations or where there are serious safety concerns.

  • Recordings are securely stored and only accessible to the Provider.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • No guarantees are made regarding the outcome of any service. Results depend on client participation, application, and determination.

  • The Provider is not responsible for indirect loss, technical failures, unforeseen events (force majeure), or the results of client application of advice/services/materials.

  • The Provider does not offer medical advice or guarantee health outcomes. Services are not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care.

  • These Terms and Conditions and any disputes are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

12. Acceptance

  • By booking, attending, or purchasing any service or product, you indicate your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
